Weaponizing Art Wtih Container Love

Started as an exhibition series at the MS Dockville music & art festival in Hamburg in 2013, Container Love has become a main hub for queer culture with countless collaborations and cooperations with art fairs, events and clubs. When the pandemic hit, we quickly realized that there is no way but forward and – from our lockdown reality – we launched Container Love’s own, online magazine. In 2021, we produced our first editorial with photographer Maximilian Mousson and there has been no stopping us ever since.

Whether producing editorials for our magazine or working with clients who have put their focus on queer issues, body positivity and feminism, at our house of love our mission is to make love visible for everyone. Because it doesn’t matter where you came from, what you believe in or who you love – every human being deserves to feel visible, equal and accepted. And this is something that we are ready to fight for with the heavy weapon that is art.
